“ENGAGE” is the action verb of all action verbs. It’s the big daddy of verbs. It’s what separates all the men verbs from the boy verbs.
You can do all kinds of things in your business. You can type a proposal or a brochure or create a PowerPoint presentation. That’s all well and good. You can submit it to a potential client. Great. But the real goal is to ENGAGE them—and you haven’t succeeded until you do.
You can converse, propose, speak, show, present, sing, dance, whatever…fill in the blank. But if you don’t ENGAGE, what’s it all good for? You’re just another schmuck taking up someone’s time while they politely wait for you to finish.
What’s more powerful than ENGAGING someone? It’s the biggest compliment you can give. “You engaged me. I wasn’t just listening. I was engaged. You made me think. You weren’t wasting my time.”
ENGAGING your audience doesn’t just mean getting people to hear your message, it means getting them to respond to it in some way—whether it means buying your stock or having them actively inquire about a product or service or drug you’ve developed.
When you are ready to develop an Engaging Channel Agnostic Communications™ program that won’t just talk to your intended audience, but actively ENGAGE them…come talk to us at Dian Griesel Inc.
